A lone raider has escaped with an undisclosed sum of money following a raid on a bank in Naas, Co Kildare, this morning.

A lone raider has escaped with an undisclosed sum of money following a raid on a bank in Naas, Co Kildare, this morning.

The man, who is believed to have been a Dubliner, entered the AIB branch in the town brandishing an imitation firearm.
