Dempsey rules out privatisation of ESB distribution network

Communications Minister Noel Dempsey has reportedly ruled out any move towards privatising the ESB network that distributes electricity throughout the country.

Reports this morning said the privatisation of individual power plants was being considered as part of a review of energy policy due to be conducted in the coming months.
