Govt must wake to climate change threat, say Greens

The Government must wake up to the dangers of global climate change, the Green Party demanded today.

Energy spokesman Eamon Ryan said that despite dramatic evidence from scientists that there was a real danger of irreversible climate change, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and his colleagues were burying their heads in the sand over the issue.
