The Government has reportedly decided to open new Irish Embassies in five European countries.

Reports this morning said the offices would be located in Latvia, Lithuania and Malta, the only three EU member states without an Irish Embassy, as well as Bulgaria and Romania, which are due to join the EU in 2007.
