Revenue to get more powers to prosecute tax evaders

Finance Minister Brian Cowen is reportedly planning to give the Revenue Commissioners more powers to prosecute advisors who facilitate tax evasion by their clients.

Reports this morning said the move would be unveiled as part of the Finance Bill later today.
