Three bodies found in different incidents around country

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of the bodies of three men across the country since Friday.

One man was found dead in a house in Cork, the body of another man was found in the River Shannon while a third man was found dead at his home in Donegal.

On Friday morning the body of a Polish man was found in the bedroom of a house on Fairfield Road, in the north of Cork City.

A post-mortem has been carried out, but results won't be released until further toxicology tests are completed.

In Drumshambo, Co Leitrim, a body was discovered in the river Shannon by a passerby at about 4:30pm yesterday.

Gardaí there are investigating whether or not is the body of a man missing from the area for over 40 days.

Meanwhile, gardaí in Donegal are treating as suspicious the discovery of a man's body at his home near Dungloe yesterday.

The Garda Technical Bureau has preserved the scene and the State Pathologist is expected to examine the scene later today.
