Man charged over death of father

A 24-year-old man is expected to appear before the district court tomorrow charged in connection with the death of a father-of-six on Dublin’s southside, gardaí said.

A 24-year-old man is expected to appear before the district court tomorrow charged in connection with the death of a father-of-six on Dublin’s southside, gardaí said.

Detectives said the man was to appear before Kilmainham District Court over the death of Thomas Brady.

The man was arrested in Dublin this morning and is still being questioned at Kilmainham Garda Station.

Mr Brady, 49, was discovered with severe head injuries around 7.40pm on January 19 last in his flat in Dolphin’s House in Rialto.

The father-of-six was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
