Blair urged to issue warning to SF

Sinn Féin must be warned that the IRA’s activities must end following accusations that it was behind the £26.5m (€38.1m) Northern Bank raid, ministers in the UK were told tonight.

As Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams prepared for his first meeting with Tony Blair since the record bank heist, the Democratic Unionists called on the British Prime Minister to to tell republicans that all paramilitary and criminal activities must cease.
