Body discovered in Louth with serious injuries

Gardaí are investigating a suspicious death in Co Louth after the body of a man in his 50s was discovered with serious injuries at a house in Drogheda this morning.

The body has been removed to a morgue in Dublin where a post-mortem will be carried out by state pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy this afternoon.
