BUPA increase angers patient groups

Patient and consumer groups have reacted angrily to the impending premium increase of 6% by the health insurance company, BUPA.

The increase, which is due to take effect from March, follows in the wake of a 3% increase by VHI in September last, which was the third such rise in a two-year period.
