Gardaí investigate death of Dublin man

Dublin gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in the city’s southside.

Dublin gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in the city’s southside.

The 40-year-old had sustained head injuries. He was rushed by ambulance from Dolphin House in Dolphin’s Barn to St James’ Hospital at 8pm last night.

It is believed he died soon after.

Detectives immediately sealed off a flat in the Dolphin House complex.

Officers from Garda Technical Bureau will carry out a forensic exam of the area this morning and a post mortem will be also carried out on the man’s body.
