Measures agreed to alleviate A&E overcrowding

A package of measures has been drawn up in an effort to relieve the long-running problem of overcrowding at accident and emergency departments in Irish hospitals.

The measures were agreed at a meeting chaired by the Labour Relations Commission last night.
