Rat discovered in Roscommon hospital

A rat has been found in Roscommon hospital.

The Health Services Executive has confirmed that a rodent was discovered at the Sacred Heart Hospital in a non-patient area over the weekend and was later disposed of.

Management at the hospital have reassured patients and their families that services will continue as normal and that the isolated incident will continue to be monitored.
