The Rape Crisis Network has accused the Government of isolating victims of sexual violence by failing to prove adequate funding to rape crisis centres.

Network director Fiona Neary said: "The Government, sadly, did very, very little for rape crisis centres in the last number of budgets and this has left our services unable to provide essential services, including face-to-face counselling and helplines.
