Prisoner escapes while being treated at Dublin hospital

Gardaí in Dublin are searching for prisoner who escaped his guards after being taken to St James' Hospital for treatment yesterday evening.

The 26-year-old Dubliner had been brought to the hospital from Portlaoise Prison, where he was nearing the end of a sentence for drug-related offences and robbery.
