50% of landlords not registered with new regulator

Just over one half of the country’s landlords have registered with a new regulator for the rental sector, it emerged today.

Government figures show that only 75,000 of a total estimated 140,000 have sent in applications to the Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB).
