Electricity reconnected after power outage

The ESB has reported that all of the homes left without electricity this morning have been reconnected to the power supply.

10,000 people in Connemara, as well as several hundred homes in Glanmire, Cork, were forced to put their Christmas dinner on hold until the problem was sorted out.
