The Minister for Justice has said the IRA has ceased all major criminal activity in the Republic.

The Minister for Justice has said the IRA has ceased all major criminal activity in the Republic.

In a newspaper interview this morning, Michael McDowell also indicated that in certain circumstances, he is still prepared to accept the release of the killers of Detective Jerry McCabe.
