Baby thrown from car after father tackles gang

A sixteen-month-old baby was thrown from a car and his father was seriously injured when he tried to prevent a robbery at a supermarket in the North.

The victim’s ear was partially bitten off and he was beaten with wooden bats during the incident at a supermarket in Lisburn, Co Antrim.
