City wakes up to role in Titanic tragedy
Belfast has finally woken up to the reality that the Titanic story, and its role as the birthplace of the ill fated liner, is a tourist grabber, a city councillor said today.
Belfast City Council and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board announced today that they had appointed an international team of specialists to draw up plans for a world-class visitor attraction based on both the Titanic and the city’s wider industrial heritage.
