McAleese to visit Irish peacekeepers in Liberia

President Mary McAleese is due to visit Irish peacekeepers in Liberia today as part of a two-day visit to Africa.

More than 400 Irish soldiers are serving with the United Nations in the west African country, which is recovering from a 14-year civil war.
