Peace deal 'hours' away, says Ahern

The Northern Ireland peace process is within 10 hours of a successful conclusion, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern claimed today.

Mr Ahern called on all parties to make a final push to revive the powersharing institutions at Stormont and claimed failure to cross the finish line would be an act of insanity on the part of everyone involved.
