Garda appeal after family held hostage

Gardaí appealed for information today after an armed gang held the family of a businessman hostage.

The four men, one armed with a sawn-off shotgun, made away with about €10,000 after the hold-up at the businessman’s family home in Blackrock near Dundalk, Co Louth.
