Designated driver campaign launched

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern united with opposition leaders Enda Kenny, Pat Rabbitte and Trevor Sargent today to express support for the Christmas "Designated Driver Campaign".

Using the slogan Drive Straight and Designate, the campaign wants to get people who are socialising over Christmas to designate a member of their group to refrain from drinking alcohol so they can drive everyone home safely.
