AA asks for motorist friendly Budget

The AA has called on Finance Minister Brian Cowen to take it easy on motorists when he announces his Budget later today.

The Minister is expected to increase taxes on motor fuel, but AA spokesman Conor Faughnan said this would be unfair as motorists were already paying too much.
