Irish priest murdered in Kenya

An Irish priest was murdered in Kenya last night after a gang of ten armed men invaded his home in a Nairobi suburb.

Father John Hannon, 65, from Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co Clare, attempted flee but was seen by the attackers who hit him over the head, killing him instantly, said police.
