Schoolchildren want more gardaí on roads, says survey

A large Garda presence on Irish roads is one of the top priorities for Irish schoolchildren, according to a survey by insurance group FBD released today as part of the FBD/NPCPP Think Safety First Campaign.

A large Garda presence on Irish roads is one of the top priorities for Irish schoolchildren, according to a survey by insurance group FBD released today as part of the FBD/NPCPP Think Safety First Campaign.

The nationwide campaign targeted over 800 schools to encourage school children to become more aware of the importance of safety on the road, on the farm and in the workplace.
