Irish solicitor awarded MBE

An Irish solicitor has been awarded an MBE from the Queen of England for her work in the Special Olympics.

An Irish solicitor has been awarded an MBE from the Queen of England for her work in the Special Olympics.

Sandra Masterson Power, a solicitor with BCM Hanby Wallace, was Team Great Britain’s delegation assistant.

The award was presented today at a special ceremony by the British ambassador, Stewart Eldon.

Sandra Masterson Power was one of 30,000 Irish volunteers for the event in 2003.
