Gardaí investigate discovery of baby's body

Gardaí in Donegal town are continuing to investigate the discovery of a baby's body yesterday morning.

The remains were found at a house in the Drumrooske Estate early yesterday, by gardaí acting on a tip-off.

It is understood a man and two women in their 20s, including the baby's mother, lived in the three-bedroomed council house.

Gardaí say all three are helping them with their enquiries.

Post mortem results are due today on the body of the newborn baby girl.
