Al-Jazeera refuse to broadcast new video of Margaret Hassan

The Taoiseach has told the Dáil that Al-Jazeera television has refused to broadcast a new video featuring Margaret Hassan because it is too distressing.

Mr Ahern told the house that he has learned the video features Ms Hassan being subjected to physical and mental abuse.
