Nigerian woman given six-month stay of deportation

A Nigerian campaigner on women’s health issues will not be deported for at least six months, Tánaiste Mary Harney said today.

Juliet Imiruaye, who fled Nigeria five years ago, claims she will be killed if she returns because of her campaign against the practice of female genital mutilation.
