Gardaí have named the young man who was killed in a road accident in Monaghan.

Gardaí have named the young man who was killed in a road accident in Monaghan.

He was 26-year-old Brendan O' Neill of Tydavnet in Monaghan.

He died when his motorcycle collided with a tree at Aughnameal, Clontibret shortly before half 7.30pm yesterday.
