A 26-year-old motorcyclist has been killed in a road accident in Monaghan.

A 26-year-old motorcyclist has been killed in a road accident in Monaghan.

He died when his motorcycle collided with a tree Aughnameal, Clontibret, shortly before 7.30pm yesterday evening.

His body has been removed to Cavan General Hospital.
