Ireland fans flock to Paris
An estimated 35,000 Irish fans have made the journey to Paris for tonight's World Cup soccer qualifier between France and Ireland.
It is reckoned to be the largest mass exodus ever for a sporting event involving Ireland.
However, not all of them will be able to watch the game from the splendour of the Stade de France as the Irish allocation of tickets sold out almost immediately.
Both France and Ireland have won one game and drawn another in this World Cup Qualifying campaign, but the French are under pressure for not having played so far with their customary flair.
Kick off is at 8pm.
