Prison visits go ahead despite warders' overtime ban

Prison visits in the North were conducted as normal today despite an overtime ban by warders in a bitter row over pay.

As the 48-hour ban moved into its second day, a Northern Ireland Office spokeswoman said it had not had any major effects on day-to-day activity.
