The Central Statistics Office has reported a 26% increase in successful planning applications in the second quarter of this year compared with the same period last year.

The Central Statistics Office has reported a 26% increase in successful planning applications in the second quarter of this year compared with the same period last year.

The CSO said permission was granted for 25,966 dwelling units between April and June, compared to 20,602 units in the second quarter of 2003.
