Minister refutes affordable housing claims

The Minister for Housing, Noel Ahern, has refuted reports that less than 200 homes were built under the affordable housing scheme last year.

He said that the annual figure is closer to 2,600 and will almost double when all three social housing schemes are up and running in a few years' time.
