SIPTU and Aer Lingus fail to reach deal on redundancies

SIPTU officials and Aer Lingus chief executive Willie Walsh have failed to reach agreement on the details of a redundancy package being offered to 1,325 of the airline’s workers.

The two sides met for a number of hours this morning to discuss the matter, but no progress was reported.
