Clinton to meet Northern politicians during Belfast visit
Former US President Bill Clinton is expected to meet representatives of the North’s main political parties during a trip to Belfast today. Mr Clinton is visiting the city to sign copies of his autobiography, My Life.
He is expected to urge leading unionist and nationalist politicians to make a real effort to permanently restore devolved government in the North during talks at Leeds Castle next month.
The former US President’s wife, New York Senator Hillary Clinton, is also due to deliver an address at the University of Ulster in Derry today.
