Govt announces €1.5m in grants for cross-border projects

The Government has announced almost €1.5m in grant aid for a number of cross-border projects.

Co-operation Ireland and the Glencree Centre for Reconciliation are among 44 organisations to benefit from the funding.

Announcing the grants, Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen urged the groups to continue their work to promote trust between nationalists and unionists in the North.
