Clinton in Dublin for Eason’s book-signing

Large crowds have gathered outside Eason’s on Dublin’s O’Connell St ahead of a book-signing later today by Bill Clinton.

The former US President is due to sign copies of his autobiography, My Life, between 9am and 10.30am.

The book topped the best-seller lists for four weeks when it was published in June, and remains in the top five.

After the signing, Mr Clinton is due to hold a private meeting with the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, before travelling to Belfast for a similar event tomorrow.

His wife, New York Senator Hillary Clinton, is due to deliver the annual Tip O’Neill lecture in Derry tomorrow.
