Man arrested after €400,000 heroin find

A man has been arrested in Dublin after heroin with a street value of €400,000 was seized in a Garda operation.

A man has been arrested in Dublin after heroin with a street value of €400,000 was seized in a Garda operation.

Gardaí say the operation was aimed at drug suppliers on the northside of the city.

The arrested man, who is in his 20s, was detained in the Clonshaugh area of Coolock. He is being held at Store Street Station.

A quantity of ammunition was seized in a follow up search in Swords.
