Teen drowns after fall from horse into lake

A 19 year-old girl from Co Wexford has died after falling from her horse into a lake in Co Clare this afternoon.

The young woman had been horse riding along the shoreline at Doon Lough near the East Clare village of Broadford at around 3.30pm when she fell from her mount into the water.
