Women from around the world take to the stage today in Ireland’s number one pageant to battle for the crown of Rose of Tralee.

The 46th Rose begins today with contestants from as far afield as Dubai and Australia up against Ulster Rose Michaela Harte and Irish dancing champion and English Rose Angela Crowley.
