Larne death may be result of domestic row
A man found dead at a house in Northern Ireland may have been involved in a domestic row, it emerged today.
As detectives confirmed they were treating 34-year-old Peter Gamble’s death as suspicious, another man was arrested and questioned.
The victim was involved in a confrontation before his body was found at a property in the Roddens area of Larne, Co Antrim, sources said.
A woman and two young children are believed to live in the house.
Although police have released no details on what happened, sectarian or paramilitary involvement is not suspected.
Danny O’Connor, an SDLP councillor in Larne, said: “This is a terrible tragedy. Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the deceased and we hope they will get some comfort and justice.”
