NI towns ill-prepared for attacks, say Omagh relatives

Relatives of the victims of the Omagh bombing have claimed that towns in the North are still not equipped to deal with similar attacks.

The relatives said emergency planning and evacuation procedures in Northern towns were inadequate compared to those in place in other countries.

Details of the shortfalls were presented to the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission in Belfast today.
