Govt urged to consider Vananu asylum

Labour's Michael D Higgins has called on the Government to consider a possible asylum request from Israeli whistleblower Mordechai Vanunu.

Mr Vanunu was released from prison earlier this year after serving 18 years for revealing details of Israel’s secret nuclear weapons programme.
