Man and woman killed in Down crash
An early-morning accident near Newry, Co Down, has left two people dead and another two fighting for their lives.
All four were travelling in a car that collided with another vehicle at the Forkhill roundabout on the main Dublin to Belfast road shortly before 1am.
The male driver and a female passenger were both killed, while two back-seat passengers were seriously injured.
Three others were also hospitalised after the crash, which forced the closure of the Dublin-Belfast road.
