UUP accuses Donaldson of hypocrisy over SF stance

The Ulster Unionist Party’s Dermot Nesbitt has accused anti-agreement MP Jeffrey Donaldson of hypocrisy for socialising with Sinn Féin’s Martin McGuinness.

The Ulster Unionist Party’s Dermot Nesbitt has accused anti-agreement MP Jeffrey Donaldson of hypocrisy for socialising with Sinn Féin’s Martin McGuinness.

Mr Nesbitt said he saw Mr Donaldson sitting at the same table as Mr McGuinness during a recent social event in Co Donegal.

The event was part of the annual Glenties summer school.

Mr Donaldson, who defected from the UUP to the Democratic Unionist Party last year, has insisted that he was not sitting at the same table as the Sinn Féin MP nor socialising with any member of Sinn Féin.
