Tánaiste responds to Letterkenny job losses

Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Mary Harney said this evening that she is dismayed at the sudden announcement by Unifi Textured Yarns Europe, Letterkenny, that it is to close its Donegal facility.

Ms Harney said: “The impact of this announcement will obviously hit hardest at those workers and their families who are most directly affected, but it is also a severe setback for the whole local community.”
